The most intimate and important moment of your entire wedding day will be the ceremony where you both exchange vows and make your firm commitments to each other. Whether you are getting married in a church or at a civil ceremony you will have your closest family and friends around you to experience the start of the journey. Add an extra special touch when making your grand entrance with some live music to enhance the atmosphere! Many couples opt for 'Nessun Dorma' or the rat pack favourite 'It had to be you' - however it's your day therefore the musical choice is yours. Aubrey the wedding singer will happily discuss any choice of music you may have in mind and will perform it live at your ceremony. This could be for your entrance, during the signing of the registry or as your leave. To keep continuity with the music, why not have Aubrey then supply your drinks reception entertainment.
THE DRINKS RECEPTION...

60 minutes of live performance.
The drinks reception is usually the time where your photographer will take pictures for your wedding album, therefore it's nice to have something to entertain the guests whilst they wait their turn to be photographed! As your guests arrive at the venue for the wedding breakfast or wedding party why not have them entertained with a mixture of gentle songs from the Rat Pack or new Swing Jazz covers by the likes of Michael Buble and Jamie Cullum. Live music adds that extra something to any kind of event and helps break the ice with people who either haven't met before or who haven't seen each other for a long time. Aubrey the wedding singer will discuss with you your choice of favourite 'relaxed' music and perform live for 60 minutes. However you don't have to stick with Swing or Jazz, Aubrey is happy to perform ANY songs you may have in mind by ANY artists. The drinks reception is usually the time where your photographer will take pictures for your wedding album, therefore it's nice to have something to entertain the guests whilst they wait their turn to be photographed!

Have you ever found yourself sat in a quiet restaurant
wondering if the people on the next table are listening to your conversation, or even been put off by the noise the people around you are making as they eat or clatter cutlery around their plates? A little bit of relaxing background music can ease the tension and add a little special atmosphere to your wedding breakfast. After performing at thousands of weddings I am finding that more and more people are opting for a package that includes music during the wedding breakfast or corporate meal. You can see a typical scenario for such an occasion below...
- 60 minutes of unobtrusive live performance.
- Ambient background music provided whist your guests are seated.
- As you are lead to your top table Aubrey the wedding singer can perform a song of your choice.
- During the meal Aubrey the wedding singer can perform a selection of gentle classics from the Rat Pack, Jazz including Michael Buble and Jamie Cullum and even some gentle soul numbers and love songs.
- After Aubrey the wedding singer has finished performing, ambient background music will be supplied until it's time for speeches. If necessary a radio microphone can be supplied for the speeches.
This is a tailored package during the day I will require your seating plan of all guests dinning. I will use a much smaller audio system during the wedding meal. The seating plan is require in order for me to plan the location of PA system I will take into consideration were your cake & floral arrangements and were your wedding photographs will be taken.
THE EVENING'S ENTERTAINMENT...

120 minutes of live performance + Disco.
Rounding of your special day, the evening entertainment at your wedding party should be the perfect end to a perfect day. Why make do with the venues own DJ (who you have probably never seen perform) when you can wow your guests with a fantastic performance of live music from Aubrey the wedding singer!
Aubrey offers a fantastic package of live music and a manned disco with a great sound system and lighting. He will happily perform any of your favourite songs including your first and he will make sure that the dance floor is full all night.
In most cases Aubrey will arrive at the venue at 6PM and will be ready to perform by 7PM - wrapping up the evening by midnight. With the best will in the world schedules don't often always run to plan, however Aubrey is flexible and more than willing to adjust any timings accordingly.
He is also willing to extend performances beyond midnight for an extra fee - providing the venue has a licence to go beyond midnight. Aubrey can either draw on his years of experience and judgment and give you a show you will never forget or he is equally happy to work on a song list for live performance and the disco with your cooperation. A typical evening wedding package is shown below:
- Arrival at 6PM and Sound and lighting checked, before guests arrive or as the room is turned around for the evening function..
- Your special first dance (either performed live or played pre-recorded).
- 1-1/2 hours live music in 1 OR 2 sets throughout the evening or of your choice.
- For an extra £100.00 Fully functional and supervised disco in between live sets providing a full evening's music
- An endless selection of music from 60s to present day.
- Your choice of requests for the evening disco
WEDDING FAQ'S - YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED...
1. I'd like to see Aubrey or the band perform is this possible?
Yes this is possible. Please contact us so we can discuss the nearest gig to you and when it would
be appropriate for you to come. We can also arrange to send
out a demo CD or DVD.
2. How long does the act need to set-up?
We usually allow 1 hour to set-up. This leaves enough time
to cope with any problems Aubrey might encounter and to
ensure the volume levels are set appropriately.
3. Can Aubrey supply
background music or a disco?
Aubrey can
supply appropriate background music between sets (No
additional charge) or a ‘manned’ disco at an additional
cost.
4. Due to the schedule of the wedding, the room is only
free earlier on in the day - is this a problem?
No. This is a common problem and we are used to waiting
around after setting up.
5. Will the act require a
dressing room and refreshments?
A dressing room is a good idea as it means the Aubrey and
his crew can be out of sight when you're guests arrive, and
it is usually a good place to store all the extra cases,
boxes and costumes etc. As Aubrey usually has to travel to
the event, and will be waiting around once set-up, he and
the crew would be very grateful for any refreshments you
might provide.
6. How
long does he play for?
Ordinarily
2 x 45 minute sets. This is taken from an extensive list of
over 5500 songs and is usually tailor-made for your event,
depending on the age range and tastes of your guests.
However, should you wish Aubrey to play for longer, or
different timed sets (i.e. 1 1/2 hours solid / 3 x 1/2 hours
or any other combination or length of performance you
specify) this is not a problem and can be discussed with
Aubrey prior to the event.
7. Will the Aubrey take
requests or play our first dance?
Aubrey would be pleased to sing your choice of 'first dance'
song, providing he is notified within two weeks of the
performance. On the night, he will try his best to
accommodate any requests.
8. Does Aubrey provide the
sound system and lighting?
Yes. The latest digital PA system which can be adapted to
suit almost any size room. Lighting is also provided.
9. How much space will Aubrey need?
Aubrey will be as flexible as possible when it comes to all
matters involving your event. With regards to stage-size the
same applies, however it is advisable that a minimum space
of approximately 3m x 2m' is provided.
10. How far will Aubrey
travel?
The UK and into
Europe.
11 . How much does he cost?

12. Are there any other
practical requirements we need to think about?
It is always a good idea to make sure there are enough
electrical sockets available. Three 13 amp sockets are a
sensible amount to work from.
Another factor to consider is access. If the room being used
is upstairs or a long way from vehicle access we appreciate
knowing this in advance. The same goes for open air
functions. We will need to know in advance if it is a
marquee and if there is good access for our vehicle (i.e.
appropriate road tracking if the ground is wet).
13. The venue that the event is being held at has asked that
the band / disco supply copies of their insurance and
electrical equipment P.A.T. certificates – What are these?
It is common these days for venues to ensure that any
outside contractor using electrical equipment on their
premises carry at least £5million public liability insurance
and they have a certificate proving that all their
electrical equipment has been tested for safety. We will
happily supply copies of both certificates to the venue on
request.
